F A Q

Are gifts required to attend?

Absolutely not. Our biggest gift is your presence during such a big event in our lives. Gifts are absolutely appreciated, especially during times of inflation like now, but gifts are optional and will make all attendees no less welcome if they do not get us something.

I can't fly out. How do I attend virtually?

Once the zoom package is ready, we'll update the WHERE and the HOME pages with the link for the virtual zoom link we'll be using for the date. If I can, I'll also include the ability to add the date, time and link to your calendar schedules. If there's anything else you can think of that we can do to make this convenient for you, please reach out to Myself or David.

Help! I'm not on the guest list. What do I do?

Please reach out to either David, myself or one of the officiants from the guest list who will put you in contact with us so we can fix this on a need-to basis. Our wedding is intentionally small and intimate and we ask that you respect that if you've been told no to an invite.

What if I want to fly out and be there on-site?

For strict budgeting reasons, this isn't something we can help with much. We recommend you check with local hotels in our area first, since we have already reserved our guest room's capacity. We happen to know there are very affordable rooms at Red Roof Winchester, Ramada Limited Mount Sterling, Baymont by Wyndham Winchester and Comfort Inn and Suites.

HOWEVER: Please note that as our guest capacity in our home is already reserved, this means you would need to provide your own transportation to and from. We will help if we can, but we only have so many seats in our vehicle.

We are happy to provide numbers for local taxi companies we trust. Please check your budget, calendar and with the bride and groom FIRST, as this might not be easy to accomodate for us. Surprise visits or wedding crashing isn't advised and we will not be providing the address for the venue to anyone not on the guest list.

I'm on the list to arrive on-site to attend. What do I wear? What do I bring?

First of all, we're so excited to see you! As of the date of this posting (09/03/2025), we're expecting highs in the low 60s and lows in the 30s for Nov 1, and being overcast (22°C High/ 16°C Low for our international friends). Definitely bring a jacket.

Do I have to abide by the Dress Code?

Not strictly, but we do require you to be wearing shirt and pants or shorts. That's right. I said No Nakey.

Not many FAQs here. Why?

More will be forthcoming. Check back periodically. The bride will be adding more as we get closer and as needed.
